MENTAL HEALTH REGISTRY
Adoptees and foster-youth are 2x more likely to come into contact with mental health professionals. It’s crucial that they have access to adoption competent and trauma-informed mental health support throughout their lifetime. This registry is designed to be a resource for locating and connecting with a mental health specialist that can support a transracial adoptee or foster youth in their journey. This registry includes transracial adoptee and former foster youth mental health providers, providers of color and/or providers who have demonstrated expertise in providing services to those impacted by family separation, foster care, and adoption.
